Weekly Photo Challenge: Muse
I think it’s fair to say that Italy has been my muse these past few months in the studio, in response to Brie Anne asking us for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge, “So what’s your muse — what subject do you turn to frequently, more inspired each time?” However, I do have a new muse in my life now as you know if you visited Studio 365: Day 178. 🙂
I lived in Rome in the 80s and it’s fair to say that if the fates hadn’t conspired to have me marry a man whose roots are in France that I would have moved back when my chicks had flown the next. Italy is the perfect muse … and she certainly inspires wonderful work from you 🙂

what a joy filled extravanganza of light and colour! Looking at your city streets and alleys and countryside paths, I can wonder at what Italian adventures were afoot in days gone by! Great collection of your paintings Andrew 🙂

Thanks Debi. So many adventures full of great memories, which I often re-visit in the journal. It’s fun to now take some time and express it with the paintings. Glad you like them 🙂
