Well Met

As promised on MoMA Mia, a gallery and slideshow of some of my favourite photos from our recent visit to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The perfect way to spend a few hours on a New York Sunday afternoon in January.

While you are viewing the slides, enjoy Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett singing…you guessed it of course…New York New York.

Studio 365: Day 2

new ii

Studio 365 day two and given this week’s Photo Challenge: New from Michelle, the perfect opportunity to share a new painting in association with my new goal of posting a photo from the studio each day of the year, a new header and the second day of a new year. What could be a better start? The view is from the Liquidity Winery in beautiful British Columbia’s Okanagan. It’s not yet finished, but it’s well on the way.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Twinkle

Twinkling lights from the 22nd Annual Gingerbread Village, which we enjoyed seeing at the Sheraton Hotel in Seattle a week ago; well worth the visit.
