Today was one of those perfect early Autumn days here in Vancouver that began with a morning walk along Spanish Banks and through the Pacific Spirit Park, of which more tomorrow…
…and an afternoon at the opera for a memorable matinee performance of Rigoletto by Vancouver Opera.
With no studio time today I thought I would revisit the monoprint from Day 274 and capture some of its sections in close up. It’s always interesting to find paintings within paintings and today was no exception.
Beautiful autumn colours!

Oooh! Rigoletto – jealous! The pictures are wonderful – echoes of Monet for me – feeling like wonderful impressionist reflections on a river, a pond, a puddle – it matters not but it seems like Autumn is caressing some water. Love it.
