On this one year anniversary of the WHO declaring COVID-19 a global pandemic, today in Canada our first National Day of Observance commemorates all whom we have so tragically lost to the virus and recognizes and thanks, as we do every day, our frontline and healthcare heroes. This flag at half mast in Vanier Park is just one of many thousands across the country that flies today to bring us all together on this day of remembrance. 🇨🇦

As National Nurses Week begins a chance to say thank you to a lifetime of nursing colleagues and dear friends. They are all amazing and those on the frontline everyday are true modern day superheroes.
