If you are fans of So You Think You Can Dance as we are, you will have seen the audition by Deise Mendonca and Mauricio Vera that simply took ones breath away. These few photos that I took during last week’s broadcast demonstrate that the question SYTYCD really does not apply to these two wonderful artists whose love for each other and for dance leaps from the screen.

They danced Le grand pas de deux from Act II of Le Corsaire, music by Riccardo Drigo, and played here by The Evergreen Symphony Orchestra.

Can there be a more iconic room than Vincent Van Gogh’s bedroom at the Saint-Paul Asylum, Saint-Remy, France where Van Gogh entered voluntarily as a patient on May 8, 1889 and remained until May the following year. During this time he painted the gardens, with their wheat fields, olives groves, irises and sunflowers, all of which he could see from his bedroom window.
