For all the joy I get from the alpine skiing, bonkers ski jumpers, snake like slalemers, devil may care skeleton and luge, disciplined to the nth degree bobsleigh crews, rhythmic speed skaters and the sheer athleticism of the boarders it is ice dance and figure skating that have my heart and this year’s perfect Canadian pair are amongst the finest I have ever been spellbound by (I’m English … there must always be T&D) in fact dare I say It, the best ever. Your paintings capture their artistry and athleticism perfectly… you sir, are the Lord of the dance
