Flying into Vancouver on the weekend the shadows cast from the different architectural structures of bridges, freeways and buildings in the setting sun had a beauty all of their own and made for a wonderful welcome home.

oh those shadows in the water are lovely. the design, the abstractedness of these photographs are wonderful! how intriguing, and to wonder about stripping it all back using black ink, with a wide big brush to get those broad shapes……
