Today is National Aboriginal Day in Canada and I couldn’t be more proud and happy to be offering my congratulations to my dear friend and colleague Dr. Nadine Caron on her receiving the Dr. Thomas Dignan Indigenous Health Award from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The Royal College Dr. Thomas Dignan Indigenous Health Award is among our newest awards. It was established in 2014 in honour of Dr. Dignan, O.Ont.,BScN, and his tireless advocacy to eradicate disparities in the care of Canada?s Indigenous peoples, as well as their access to equitable medical services.

This is Fantastic Andrew, Thank you for sharing an inspirational post and message. For Native Americans, Indigenous, and all of us actually. I loved her statement, “Eventually someone has to go upstream to see why, we are all falling in.”
