I’ve used my acrylic extra heavy sculpting molding paste, GAC, sand infused gesso – but not polyfilla! its on my to do, and to purchase list. Which, both lately are getting out of hand! 🙂 I’ll be getting a break, the end of January, so some experiments can wait til then.
Wow, this is my favorite! It is absolutely wonderful, it really has a marble sculpture effect and the fact that you outlined the figures with a muted red and brown gives a great 3D effect not to mention the smart use of white highlights and black spots, a perfectly executed artwork!
I’ve loved this series (as you know I am a sucker for a series …. witnessing the development and variation of process is fascinating) but this is a real stand out. Is it wrong to say that I want to pinch the bottom in the middle 😉 !!

It is a very pinchable-looking bottom I agree but rather hard I’m afraid 🙂
