This week Michelle asks us to “… find beauty in a blur.” You may remember the original image, Palette Wall, which I submitted to Cheri’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Wall. Adding a Gaussian Blur to it has given it a new and surprising beauty. I hope you agree.
this is quite a beauty! it causes my mind to pause and wonder about ways to create soft blurry edges…. like encaustic over the image, or transparent oils, and several more. Well done – It got the viewer ..engaged!

Thanks Debi. I’m always amazed how creative one can be with photo-editing. It often stimulates new ideas and new ways of expression to translate into the studio. Glad you like it 🙂

It was wonderful. We were in Arizona with my parents so it was nice and sunny and warm.

That should be a fabric … it reminds me of a piece of Bauhaus printed cotton I used to pin to the wall wherever I moved to (which I did all too frequently) and immediately the wall became home 🙂

Thanks Osyth. Why not print it out and put it on the wall, and enjoy the memory 🙂
