Congratulations to Team Canada on their 4-2 win over Team USA in women’s hockey made possible by the record-breaking goaltending of Ann-Renée Desbiens whose spectacular 51 saves were the most made by a Canadian goaltender, male or female, in any Olympic contest; congratulations to Ann Renée.

On a clear, crisp Saturday yesterday, this was a rare site in Vancouver’s Vanier Park, which definitely uplifted our mood as we walked by in the afternoon sunshine.
