Three Palettescapes (my new word) from yesterday’s palette photographed before it was washed away forever. The word describes these serendipitous landscapes of color that seem to have a life of their own. Interested to hear your thoughts.

And the Oscar goes to…
…our wonderful late parents to whom we gave this golden Oscar to celebrate their Golden Wedding in 1986. What a special day that was. Lovely to remember them on thechangingpalette on Oscar Day and particularly my mothers advice to always “Count your blessings.”Rule of Thirds applied.
Still in a Rule of Thirds state of mind.

Stained Glass Variation I
Stained Glass Variation II
Given today’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Rule of Thirds from Jen I thought I would work with some of the torn pieces from yesterdays Guildford Cathedral Revisited and play with the rule of thirds and Bokeh effect. What do you think?

Guildford Cathedral Revisited.
After yesterdays’s collages, I thought I would revisit an image I found in one of the studio drawers. In fact it was a stencil I had made of a stained glass window in Guildford Cathedral in England.
I had photographed the window some years ago at a time I was using stained glass imagery in my paintings. Here is the photograph…
…and here is the resulting painting…
Excited by yesterday’s collages this is the collage for today’s Guildford Cathedral Revisited using torn pieces from previous stained glass window paintings.
