“Be not indifferent”

On Holocaust Memorial Day heartbreaking images and words from the memorial ceremony held today at the gates of the Auschwitz concentration camp on this 75th anniversary of its liberation.


 

 
“Be not indifferent” are three of those powerful words that were spoken as we remember all those children, women and men who were murdered and who are in all of our thoughts today.

The Eternal Flame in the Hall of Remembrance at Yad Vashem, Jerusalem,
which I drew on July 11th 1967.
