We were talking to someone about a trip we made to Colorado, and he asked if we had been to Fruita. It is on I70 west of Grand Junction, just over the line from Utah. He said that the arches there are fantastic but less well known. Looking at the map I think he may have been talking about the Mackinnis Canyon National Conservation Area.
Not sure how I missed this breath taking post…. Loved the featured image. wow.
But I am very intrigued by the 3rd one down/last image.
That one is as if a robed family of giants… were caught in time, gazing out whilst standing on their rock ledge. Each photograph is wonderful and gorgeous. cheers.

Thanks Stephen. Fruita is one of the entrance points to the Colorado National Monument. The other is from Grand Junction. Stay tuned for Part III 😊
