The Gondolas study I ā pen, brush and ink, matted and framed
With this last maturday of the year, and what is to be the final one of the series, here is a look back at all the others since I began posting them every Saturday since the end of February. Do you have any favourites? I know I do.
Wishing everyone a very happy, healthy and creative New Year.
What a lovely gallery (do you remember a programme called Vision On with Tony Hart in England?) ….it is pretty impossible to choose favourites but the Italian series have come up particularly well, the black and whites are stunning and the dancer remains an evocative image and curiously, the London scene I think takes on a new depth framed – perhaps it’s because that part of London has quite a formal edge to it. Anyway, thank you for a lovely show at the end of the year ‘Andrew Seal – a retrospective’ … fabulous!

Thanks so much for your lovely comment Osyth and I do indeed remember Tony Hart well. We used to watch him on our family’s nine inch Pye television. State of the art technology š Glad you enjoyed the “retrospective”. Happy New Year once again.

I’ve really enjoyed following you this year. It’s hard to choose favorites, you have so many lovely paintings. Which are your favorites?

Many thanks Deborah. Hard to choose of course but my favourite two are my granddaughter’s shoes and dresses š
