…great ball of fire.
Last night’s sunset over English Bay in Vancouver was one giant fire ball resulting from the smoke of the wild fires to the east blanketing the city. Our thoughts are with all those who have lost homes and property and have had to evacuate their towns and communities. At the same thanks go to all those on the front lines fighting the fires each and every day.

It is a strange scene and here we’ve been seeing the images in the media of the fires. It’s a scary experience, likewise my thoughts and prayers go out to all those who are affected.

Terrible about the wildfires, Andrew. But, a beautiful sunset as a result. It wasn’t this bad when we passed through Vancouver. We saw evidence in both Victoria and now in Tofino but just a slight haze. Frightening for those affected.
