The Black Tulip was a favourite book of mine as a young girl …. I think it is one of Dumas’ best works which reminds me to rediscover him – I havent read any of his for far too many years. Funny how the mind works – I love these pictures, by the way 🌷
Give it a go if you can find a copy …. it’s a good thriller and based at some level on historic fact. It has found its way to the screen a few times too but I have to say the only adaptation I ever saw was on the BBC about a thousand years ago!!
