The positioning does affect, in my opinion! The way you strategically positioned the ones in the left and right bottom, for instance, tells a lot! The planes, in both pictures, are heading out of the frame, which gives a beautiful effect!

A little secret: I flipped one of the images horizontally so that I could create the effect. Happy to see it worked 🙂
