Bubble Wrap

I’m forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air,

bubbless v

They fly so high,
Nearly reach the sky,

bubbles vi

Then like my dreams
They fade and die…

bubbles vii

…for the truth about bubbles is that in a split-second they’re gone.

“I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles”: music by John Kellette; lyrics credited to “Jaan Kenbrovin”, a collective pseudonym for the writers James Kendis, James Brockman and Nat Vincent. The number was debuted in the Broadway musical The Passing Show of 1918.
